Last night we witnessed a truly inspiring, mind bending performance by the Sydney Dance Company called, "360 Degrees". Choreographed by Rafael Bonachela, it was a joy ride through modern dance, set design and music. The show will be running in Sydney from July 29 - August 16. Get your tickets now!
Swooonarama! It was so hard to narrow down Zooey Deschanel's brilliance to one clip. This one is pretty funny. And it's proof of her natural beauty and oddball charm.
Damn! Why didn’t I keep up the finger picking guitar classes. It really is one of my regrets in life. Anyway Devendra Banhart did. So now he can kick out the wandering pychedelic minstrel jams.

One of our all time favourites is Julia Margaret Cameron. A female photographer from the 1800's whose work centered around shooting celebrities of the day and "Pre Raphaelite" style set ups, based on literary and religious works. Her use of soft focus, intimacy and the pursuit of beauty helped to guide photography to where it is today.
We dusted off the old CD shelves the other day and came across the short film we made for our very first collection in 2002 . When we did this there wasn't anything like "Youtube" around, so it was hard trying to get people to see it. But guess what...now you can. So go easy on us, remember, it was our first collection.
We will be uploading more of our archive videos over at the LOVER® Facebook page.
At the beginning of the year, we introduced you to the newest member of the Lover family..Miss Potato. Its now 6 months down the track, and she's doing pretty well. She's 9 months old, which in human years places her smack bang in her angry teens.
Occasionally she gets all "emo" and sits with her back towards us, and most of the time looks unimpressed. But she still gets excited when we get home, and always sleeps on our chests at night, which by the way causes major anxiety dreams, but the pay off is that she lightly touches your face with her paw in the morning to wake you up. Bliss!

Our graphic design intern guy Keenan, brought into Lover HQ yesterday what can only be described as a “slice of heaven”. Besides lifting the bar for all employees in terms of culinary skills, he produced what is known as “The Mars Bar Slice”.
As we all sat around bugging out from the taste sensation, he mentioned something about 8 melted mars bars, rice bubbles, 4 blocks of chocolate and a lot of butter. Somewhere in between all that is a little thing called “magic”.
Ian Svenonius (The Make Up and Weird War) and Bobby Gillespie (Jesus & The Mary Chain and Primal Scream) come together for a chat. Both guys have been part of highly influential bands, are walking pop culture encyclopedias, pray to rock n’ roll and can talk the talk. Brilliant.

In many cases when someone gains a certain level of media attention, more often than not they try to parlay that notoriety into a viable commodity. Whether it be a book deal, TV presenter, recording contract or more recently a fashion label.
With the exception of Chlo Sevs, the clothes pretty much end up being a yawn. But a new one has just hit the market, that we didn’t see coming. Even though their colour palette, pleat blouses and puff sleeves seem to have caught the attention of many. Including us at Lover HQ.
The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS for short) have just launched their new clothing line. Below is an image from their new Spring Summer 08 look book.
It isn't really. But dont you think that would be pretty amazing? Anyway I think its safe to say I may have seen everything now
