Woody Allen from WWD, Monday May 1, 1972.Photo by Fairchild Archives
This pic of Woody Allen popped up on WWD last week, and it immediately sent us running for the DVD’s. We watched Manhattan and Annie Hall back to back. Two all time Woody classics! It seems too easy to call him a genius, but he is! The casting, music, dialogue and beautiful shot set ups all point to genius. He is a walking “genre”. So influential on Lover, and poular culture in general.
( Christopher Walken & Woody Allen. I could watch this over and over. I've used the line “I’m due back on planet earth” too many times to mention.)This is Diane Keaton accepting her Oscar for Annie Hall. I wish more people would show this kind of individuality when styling it up for the red carpet.
