Wow. How amazing is this image? Together. In one photo. How did this photo even come about? Did they hang back in the day? If you have any ideas, we'd love to know. Imagine if they fronted some kind of super band, white frill blouses and guitar leads as far as the eye can see. A big thank you to the mysterious "X" for sending it to us.
Our first "Lover Loves..." has been and gone. And we never thought it was going to have such an enthusiastic response. We were truly overwhelmed by the amount of people who were open to turn up, sit up and listen up to something new. A big kiss and a hug to everyone that came along. Ms Arfin was received with open arms. She captured everyone with her amazing sense of honesty, observation and humour. And even though she was freaked out that we use the term "fortnight" (which she thought had been left behind in medieval times) she pretty much loved Australia right back.
You can listen to Susien and I chat to Lesley on her final night in Oz, in our "Podcast" section on the main menu page.
If you haven't purchased a copy of her book "Dear Diary", you should do so now! Amazon.
In typical fashion, we spent so much time organising everything, that we hardly took any photos. And the photos we did take are truly crappola and out of focus. So we pilfed these ones below from Lesley's Blog: CafeConLesley. Click here to read more!!

Stay tuned for the next installment of Lover Loves...!
We had some time to kill in Melbourne last week and we were lucky enough to stumble across this mind blowing experience!
It's not very often that you are given the opportunity to delve inside the mind of a genius, and Mr Nick Cave, is a genius. As Susien once said to me as we watched him being interviewed, "He makes me want to be a better person". This is true, a street fighting man, a romantic, a poet and a debonair punk rocker. Creativity is his main thrust, and this is what you see at the exhibition. Actual diary entries, scribbles, wobbles, musings and rare live perfomance footage. Which all adds up to give you amazing insight into the man who has created brilliance such as this...
And the best award acceptance speech ever commited to film..
